Caitlin Clark has accomplished many things in her early career. She was the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year and won many individual accolades before that while at the University of Iowa. She is the all-time NCAA Division 1 leading scorer and a two-time National Player of the Year.

Many consider Clark one of the greatest college athletes of all time. Clark also helped catalyze women’s basketball through what is known as “The Caitli“ Clark Effect.”

For those reasons, TIME Magazine named Clark its 2024 Athlete of the Year.

I congratulate Caitlin Clark on receiving this honor and wish her well in achieving the prized goal of winning a WNBA title.
