Caitlin Clark, Golfer

This story could evolve into the off-season’s biggest headline.

We know that Caitlin Clark is a fantastic basketball player. She holds several records at the University of Iowa, was the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, and has made millions on endorsement deals. So, what is Clark doing in the offseason? Playing golf.

Clark could be on her way to becoming a two-sport pro star, joining players like Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson, who were football-baseball combo pro athletes.

Clark told the press that she intends to play a lot of golf this offseason. We learned later that she will play in “The Annika,” hosted (of course) by LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam, which will be held next month. Clark will tee it up in the pro-am competition and be a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit at Pelican Golf Club.

Let’s keep our eyes on Caitlin Clark, the golfer. Who knows? She may start sinking 20-foot putts the way she swishes 3-point field goals.
