NBA Africa has expanded its footprint with the inauguration of a new subsidiary office in Kenya, coinciding with the launch of its new documentary series. The Nairobi-based office promises to shape basketball’s future in East Africa.

The NBA sponsored an NBA youth clinic for Under-16 players to commemorate the office’s opening. Ron Harper, former college and pro star, attended, saying, “I do not doubt that the future of basketball in Kenya is extremely bright thanks to the league’s efforts.”
