Kelce-Swift Possibilities Have Fans Buzzing

Romance rumors added spice to an otherwise forgettable Chiefs-Bears game.

Kansas City vs. Chicago wasn’t a headliner on last Sunday’s NFL card, and the game experience told why: the Chiefs rolled over the Bears 41-10. But the game made way more news than expected because of what cameras revealed in the suites. Twelve-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift was in the house.

Rumors have been swirling for months about Swift’s relationship with Chiefs’ superstar TE Travis Kelce, and on Sunday, Swift was spotted having a great time with Kelce’s mother, Donna. At one point during the game, Kelce and KC QB Patrick Mahomes looked up at the box, and Swift responded after Kelce grabbed a 3-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, screaming and banging on the glass.

And while reporters didn’t have an opportunity to talk with Kelce after the game (he left the locker room quickly), he did leave with Swift by his side.

Sunday’s encounter was the first time that the public had an opportunity to see the two together. That said, Kelce had been dropping hints of his interest in the music superstar, including wanting to present Swift with a friendship bracelet. He attended her concert at Arrowhead in July and wanted to meet her, but never got the chance. He expressed regret on the podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason.

Kelce kept pursuing, and eventually, Swift agreed to go to a Chiefs game. What’s next? No doubt cameras are poised to find out.
