Terry Crews’ acting career spans 20+years. His hits include Training Day with Denzel Washington, White Chicks with the Wayans brothers, and the long-running television series Brooklyn-Nine-Nine.
But many fans don’t know that Terry Crews also played NFL football.

In college, Crews played defensive end at Western Michigan University from 1987-to-1990, and he had 138 tackles and seven sacks during his time in Kalamazoo. Then, Crews was picked by the LA Rams as a linebacker in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft.
He played there for one season before going south to join the then-San Diego Chargers before making another move, this time to what was then the Washington Redskins. Crews donned his fourth uniform with the Philadelphia Eagles before popping overseas to play in Europe with the Rhein Fire.
Of all the places he has played, Crews says his favorite stop was with the Redskins, where he played in 16 games.
Of course, Terry Crews has achieved fame on the screen, not on the field. But, still, Crews lived the NFL dream, too, in what has turned out to be an enormously satisfying life.
