Let’s focus on what should be a great fight and not make it a political sideshow.
We are just days away from the big fight, boxing legend Evander Holyfield vs. MMA fighter Vitor Belfort. It was to have been Oscar De La Hoya’s return to the ring, but his testing positive for COVID-19 put the kibosh on that. So Holyfield will fight Belfort instead.
But the big news isn’t the bout. It’s that Donald J. Trump will serve on the crew calling the fight. To that option, I say NO! This is a boxing match, which requires intelligent commentary about the sport.
