Strong field participates in Sunday’s tournament.
Players at the ready
On Sunday, Mithun Pranav participated in the CASPL Singapore-level “Let’s Play Chess” Challenge, Onboard Chess Tournament.
Conducted by Chess Academy Singapore Pte Ltd and Sports Hub Library, Pranav played in the Under 08 division and emerged as champion. AFM (Arena Fide Master) Pranav scored 5 points out of 5 rounds.
The tournament was time control for the players was 15 minutes each for 5 rounds.
The tournament saw overall participation of 64 players in Open and Under 08 categories and was conducted in accordance with Singapore’s regulations on Covid-19 safe distance measures.
The prize-giving ceremony was presided over by Mr. Lionel Yeo, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Sports Hub.
