Mithun Pranav finished in 8th place in the Under-09 in a Tamil Nadu District Selection Tournament held at Arakonam.
The tournament, organized by the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Educational Trust and the Arakkonam Chess Coaching School, was played using the Swiss system with 20-minute time control for each player.
