My Favorite Tim Tebow Quotes

,

Tim Tebow is one of America’s most recognizable sports figures. His celebrity goes beyond fields of play and includes what he has to say about life. Here are my favorites.

Tim Tebow is an American sports legend–two-time national college football champion, former NFL quarterback, ESPN football analyst, and current pro baseball player. He’s also a best-selling author and motivational speaker.

Tebow, who played football for the University of Florida, won the coveted Heisman Trophy in 2007. He then moved on to the NFL where he played for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets. He is playing currently in the NY Mets organization, and also serves as an ESPN analyst.

Along the way, Tebow has offered great advice to athletes, sports fans, and people from all walks of life. Here are my favorite Tim Tebow quotes.

1. As a competitor and an athlete, you have to believe in yourself. And you have to believe in the people who believe in you.

2. How important it is not to allow either the highs or the lows in life to determine who you are.

3. You never know how the tough times you are going through today will inspire someone else tomorrow.

4. The people who can finish and finish at the same pace or stronger than when they started, those are the ones who are going to succeed; those are the ones who are going to be great.

5. Don’t worry about what you can’t control.

6. When you have the ability to do what you love, love what you do, and have the ability to impact people. That’s having a life of success. That’s what having a life of meaning is.

7. I can’t control the naysayers. I can control my attitude and work ethic and determination, and that’s what I’m focused on now.

8. You can’t lose confidence in yourself, or you’ve lost already. When you get knocked down, you’ve got to keep getting back up.

9. We have all procrastinated on such a way, and often to our regret. It happens time and again, putting off things that we convince ourselves might be better, more meaningful, more appropriate for another time. So often that better time either never comes or isn’t better or more appropriate after all. And then, sadly, the window of opportunity–to do something great–closes.

10. If you believe, sometimes unbelievable things are possible.
