Brett Dickinson

I am the Creator of The Sports Column. I developed the site to give everyone a chance to write quality sports articles. I studied Journalism at Salisbury University before gaining experience in broadcast for large media markets, Baltimore (WBAL Sports), and Washington D.C. (SportsWeek with Lavar Arrington), with titles as a Producer and Videographer. I co-hosted the Brett and Barry Show on WNST 1570AM Baltimore and produced for the other programs at the station. I am currently the Director of Community Relations for the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation and formerly a producer/board operator at CBS Radio Baltimore. I’d like to thank Brandie Dickinson for her tireless support.

My name is Jeffrey and I’m the co-creator and digital strategist of The Sports Column (@TheSportsColumn). I’m a Web Developer (HTML, CSS & WordPress) and when I’m not doing that or working behind the scenes at The Sports Column. I’m also a husband, father, and die-hard Redskins fan. I’ve been known to be a pretty nice guy, too.

Frank Fear

I’m responsible for keeping the site up-to-date with the latest articles. I edit and post submissions from across the country and around the world. I began writing about sports in high school, served as sports editor for my collegiate paper, and worked in the SID’s Office at St. John Fisher College. Deciding on a career in academics, I had a 35-year career at Michigan State as faculty member and administrator. My specialty is sports commentary. There’s more to sports than the games.
