The year of the Lord 2015,
Drew to a close in beefing,
Frailties prevailed like a scye,
If only to be weaved in a sigh.
31st December has left the father’s timer,
Deipnophobia ruled ‘tis earthly slumber,
Putting to bed, many a soul with presbycusis,
Raising to the sun, life’s fluoresces.
Old Trafford, welcomed a man in mace,
For he’s expected to alter our life’s pace,
Wrapped in an inaccessible mood and scudding rain,
If only to change Old Trafford’s vent and pain.

Football’s what my life most soughts after,
When life’s at times, a pollywoppus bluffer,
I am, forever, Manchester United’s Bee’s knees,
Penning in vain and glory, a sheaf of letters.
Wrought in qualm and contrite,
Skiving many a time to write,
I move on in life, time and through rains,
As mad as a Bag of Ferrets.
I journey to overpass any Wheady Mile,
With a hope of Sun’s shine through trees in isle,
Reading and writing and scripting books,
Wishing and hoping to see life’s new looks.
May you give away your life as an uhceare,
And as a sinstrodexterer, a morosoph in top tier,
May the year of the lord 2016,
May you reach your promontory with a blessing.
