Carlos Correa is generous and loving. Here are examples.
It was Fall 2019, and I worked for MD Anderson Children’s Hospital with children fighting cancer. Doing that work changes you forever, and I will forever cherish my years with those children.
Correa came to visit Jalen Garcia, who was sixteen years old. Correra comforted Jalen and dedicated a walk-off home run to him. It melted my heart to see a rich and famous man with a loving, generous heart.

That isn’t the only example. Correa helped children in Houston after the horrific Hurricane Harvey hit in 2017, helped people in Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria caused damage, and donated $500,000 in medical equipment during the COVID-19 epidemic.
For those who don’t know his background, Carlos Correa was born in Puerto Rico in 1994. After completing high school, he planned to attend the University of Miami on a baseball scholarship. Still, destiny took a turn when he was selected by the Astros and signed a $ 4.8 million contract sign-on bonus on June 7, 2012.
Carlos played seven seasons with the Houston Astros, leaving with two years on his contract and becoming a free agent. Since then, he has played for the San Francisco Giants, the New York Mets, and the Minnesota Twins, where he’ll play this season and likely beyond,
Thank you, Carlos Correra, for all you have done, are doing, and will do for people in need!
