Here’s a High Five for Under Armour’s Under the Lights Flag Football League

A great opportunity awaits in youth football.

Are you ready for football?! Millions of people around the country are, especially in the South, where football reigns supreme. Consider the popularity of Friday night high school football. It’s a community gathering place where student-athletes, their families, and community folk gather to cheer for their local team.

However, before kids can get there, they start out in Pop Warner or flag football, and the latter version is becoming increasingly popular. One indication is that Under Armour has started the Under the Lights Flag Football League all over North America, where kids can join teams and play league games. The league includes kids from kindergarten to eighth grade, promoting competitive, confidence-building play in a non-contact environment.

I’m pleased to say that the league is expanding to Houston, my hometown, in The Woodlands and League City areas, and that I’ve been hired to help out with the program.

If you want kids to thrive, make friends, learn the game of football, and compete locally and perhaps beyond, Under Armour Under the Lights Flag Football is the place for you.
