Father-son together. It’s possible, and the excitement is building to watch it happen live.
LeBron James will go down as one of the greatest basketball players ever. With the nickname “King James,” he competed in 10 NBA Finals and won four. He also won the NBA Cup in 2023 and has two gold medals as a member of the USA men’s basketball team.
LeBron has several kids, including Bronny, who most recently played for the USC Trojans and competed in the McDonald’s All-America game in 2023, the Jordan Brand Classic in 2023, and the Nike Hoop Summit in 2023.
On April 5, 2024, Bronny announced he would enter the NBA Draft, and fans wondered if the James duo would end up playing play on the same NBA team–the first time in history that would happen. Then, the possibility became real. NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced Bronny’s name as the Lakers’ pick, #55 overall.
If Bronny makes the team and LeBron re-signs with LAL, then history will be made when the two take the court together. How’s that for generating international interest for the Lakers in 2024-25?!
