Caitlin Clark and the WWE Royal Rumble

Could this crossover event happen?

The WWE Royal Rumble is an annual wrestling event held every year in January. The show is produced by World Wrestling Entertainment, formally known as the WWF (World Wrestling Federation), and matches consist of a 30-man or woman battle to see who will be the last person standing. All wrestlers don’t enter the ring at the same time. Instead, a new wrestler enters a minute at the time.

College basketball superstar Caitlin Clark already has a substantial national following as a pro, playing for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA. As her fame and following expand, so do invitations to participate in various unrelated public events. One is (you guessed it) the 2025 Royal Rumble, which will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the same city in which the Fever plays.

WWE wrestler/superstar Bianca Belair is a Caitlin Clark fan, and she invited Clark to participate in the 30-women over-the-top-rope match of the Royal Rumble. Will Clark accept? If she did, it would be an opportunity to expand her fan base.
