President Biden supports the Haudenosaunee people to participate as an independent team at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The President’s commitment to strengthening nation-to-nation relationships also acknowledges the contributions of indigenous communities. He joins others calling for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to grant an exception, allowing the Haudenosaunee Nationals to compete under their own flag.
