“By the Numbers”: My Way Too Early Trail Blazers 2023 Draft Pick

, , ,

The NBA regular season is eight to ten games from ending, and the draft positions are far from being determined. But that doesn’t deter me–the intrepid man with Numbers–from speculating what I consider a highly favorable draft situation for my favorite team, the Portland Trail Blazers. What do the numbers say?

Answer? That numerical standout is Duke’s Kyle Filipowski. The 7-foot, 230-pound power forward, who had an accomplished freshman season, was named the ACC Rookie Player of the Year. Though playing power forward, I view him as a potential replacement at center for Jusuf Nurkic–should the Blazers move him in pursuit of a high-echelon player. If not, Kyle could move into the rotation at PF.

Why the numerical enthusiasm for Filipowski? He has a personality number 7, soul number 6, and number 4 integrated self-number. These, along with a five life number and 9 destiny number, make for a congenial fit with the Blazers’ primary numbers and those of staff, coaching, and other players on the roster.

NBA Franchise received on 2 24 1970=25=7 (Date of Birth)

The first game was 10 16 1970=25=7
1977=24=6 UY

Won only NBA title 6 4 1977=34=7

Portland Trail Blazers =Acc=90=9. OY 67=13=4. IY=23=5
LN=25=7, Dest=115=7

Damian Lillard=IS 108=9. P=55=10=1. S=53=8
LN=32=5,  Dest=140=5

Chauncey Billups=IS 80=8. P=44=8. S=36=9
LN=39=12=3,  Dest=119=11=2

Comments from last year…. When I added Shaedon, I got most excited, and now add Jabari Walker. Considering the resources, the Blazers had to work with–at least from a numerological point of view–they hit the jackpot!!

Shaedon Sharpe=IS=61=7, P=43=7, S=18=9
LN=13=4 (also a pure 40), Dest=74=11=2

Jabari Walker=88=7 IS, P=47=11=2, S=41-5
LN=14=5, Dest=75=12=3

With scrutiny, the reader will see several matching numbers with Kyle, the organization, and key personnel.

So will the Blazers choose him? Slim chance, I reckon. But it is fun to speculate. That said, I’ve offered past insights that, if taken, might have made the Blazers more successful in actualizing their championship aspirations.

It’s in the Numbers, Portland!
