I have been blessed to be in Spanish countries when these games were being played. From your window, you can hear fans screaming, Gol! (Goal!) There is nothing like the World Cup!
The happiness people show when their teams win is joyful to watch. But I have a pet peeve. Soccer is football because players use their feet to play. American football should be called handball since players use their hands to play.
I wonder who will win the championship this time? The prophetic show, The Simpsons, has predicted that Brazil will win this year’s championship. That show has a good track record; perhaps it’s because rumors have it that one of the writers is a time traveler. Now that would be my favorite hobby; I’d love to be able to travel back and forth through time!
