New leadership–on the field and in the front office–is primed to help the Raiders improve after last year’s surprising, but confidence-building, playoff appearance.
The upcoming National Football League (NFL) season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons in recent memory. Last season, the LA Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals in a truly exceptional Super Bowl, and now all teams start from scratch to see who will play in Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
The Las Vegas Raiders are one of those teams. LVR had a rollercoaster 2021 season, which included the resignation of head coach Jon Gruden and a rebound to make the 2021 NFL Playoffs, losing to the eventual runner-up Bengals in the Wild Card Round. So, what might happen this year?
With new coach Josh McDaniels at the helm (late of the NE Patriots) and Sandra Douglass Morgan, the first African American female team president in NFL history, Las Vegas will be looking to improve both offensively and defensively. To bolster their chances, the team recently acquired Chandler Jones, considered by many analysts to be one of the best defensive players in the league. The team also acquired linebacker Kenny Young, who will help, as the team rebuilds the linebacking corps now that Nick Kwiatkoski has left for the Atlanta Falcons.
Off the field, the Raiders continue to face issues, including allegations of financial insecurity and revelations involving former headman Jon Gruden. But loyal Raiders fans are laser-focused on what the 2022 season will bring.
While there’s no doubt they’ll be betting on their team to win, no matter the opponent, another lucrative option is to consider wagering on Raiders prop bets. Proposition betting represents one of the biggest gambling markets, not only in the NFL but also in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Major League Baseball (MLB). A prop bet is a bet made regarding an event during a game that doesn’t directly affect the game’s final result. For example, you may be looking to place a wager on a particular player to score the next touchdown. You can also bet on outcomes, such as a player being ejected.
The Raiders are enjoying strong attendance at their new and majestic stadium, and we know that fans follow the team from around the country and, indeed, the world. Consider adding to that enjoyment by wagering on one of the NFL’s most iconic franchises.
