It’s that time of the year, and here is my full and complete list of 2022 NFL Draft picks–by round, team, player, position, and school.


ROUND 1

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Travon Walker (DE Georgia)

One of the most athletically gifted players with big upside as a speed rusher off the edge that can be a fixture across from Josh Allen in their front seven.

2. Detroit Lions: Aidan Hutchinson (DE Michigan)

His production this past season skyrocketed his stock, as he was dominant on the edge against elite competition.

3. Houston Texans: Ikem Ekwonu (OT NC State)

With the Texans’ rebuild, Ekwonu fills a huge need along the offensive line, while providing versatility to play four different positions.

4. New York Jets: Kavon Thibodeaux (DE Oregon)

Arguably the most physically talented player, Thibodeaux fills a need in Robert Salah’s defense as an edge rusher that can garner extra attention.

5. New York Giants: Evan Neal (OT Alabama)

After their offensive line has disappointed for years, the new regime adds a player that was dominant at both OT and OG while at Alabama.

6. Carolina Panthers: Malik Willis (QB Liberty)

He has the highest upside of all the QBs in the draft, with elite athleticism and arm strength but will need time to develop his ability to read defenses.

With the uncertainty with James Bradberry’s future with the team, Gardner will step in is their top CB, who has locked up WRs his entire college career.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Hamilton (S Notre Dame)

For a team needing an infusion of talent on defense, Hamilton provides them with a versatile defender that can play all over the field.

9. Seattle Seahawks: Charles Cross (OT Mississippi State)

With the departure of Duane Brown, the Seahawks fill the hole at LT with an great athlete for his size, who has good feet to control the edge.

10. New York Jets: Drake London (WR USC)

He is a huge WR with a large catch radius and great hands that can develop into a legit go-to WR on third downs or in the red zone.

11. Washington Commanders: Trevor Penning (OT Northern Iowa)

As they have to retool their once-dominant line, Penning can take on either OT, providing toughness to their front against edge rushers.

12. Minnesota Vikings: Derek Stingley (CB LSU)

He was arguably the best player in the country as a freshman, as he has displayed true lock-down ability but needs to stay healthy and become more consistent.

13. Houston Texans: Jermaine Johnson (DE Florida State)

After getting his chance to consistently play, he showed big-play ability as an edge rusher who has the ideal combo of size, speed and technique.

14. Baltimore Ravens: Jordan Davis (DT Georgia)

He was arguably the best player in the country last year, as he took on defenders against the run and pass, clearing things up for his talented teammates.

15. Philadelphia Eagles: Jameson Williams (WR Alabama)

As they continue to build around Jalen Hurts, they add the most explosive player in the country last year that can be the home-run threat across from DeVonta Smith.

16. New Orleans Saints: Garrett Wilson (WR Ohio State)

He can step in right away with his elite route running and ideal skill set that can line up on the outside or inside opposite Michael Thomas.

17. Los Angeles Chargers: Zion Johnson (OL Boston College)

After investing heavily on defense this offseason, adding Johnson provides an upgrade at either OG or RT for a team ready to compete as long as Justin Herbert is healthy.

18. Philadelphia Eagles: Trent McDuffie (CB Washington)

They have a hole on their defense opposite Darius Slay and he fits nicely as a physical CB that will excel in their zone-heavy concepts.

19. New Orleans Saints: Desmond Ridder (QB Cincinnati)

With no long-term solution on their roster at QB, Ridder provides them with a proven winner that can make plays with his arm and legs.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenny Pickett (QB Pittsburgh)

They do not have a long-term plan to replace Ben Roethlisberger and Pickett was the best QB in college last year, as he commanded the offense, making big plays down the field.

21. New England Patriots: Devin Lloyd (LB Utah)

With the losses of key LBs, the Patriots fill the void with an athletic player that is equally effective in coverage or attacking the line of scrimmage.

22. Green Bay Packers: George Karlaftis (DE Purdue)

He provides their defensive front with versatility, as he can play as a stand-up OLB or slide down on the line with his hand in the dirt.

He can be the most impactful rookie, as he provides leadership to their protection with being an elite technician against interior rushers.

The Cowboys had problems on the back end of their defense and Hill fits nicely as he can play in the slot or as a ball-hawking S.

With their running game struggles last season, Hall gives them a true lead back that is explosive with the ball in his hands that can make plays as a receiver as well.

26. Tennessee Titans: Nakobe Dean (LB Georgia)

Their starting ILBs have left over the past year and Dean provides not only the leadership but instincts to command the middle of the field.

The Buccaneers need to add youth to their defensive front to pair with Vita Vea, as Wyatt is an elite penetrator that can reset the line of scrimmage against the run or pass.

After losing their top two WRs, Olave can step right in as an explosive deep threat that utilizes his quickness and route running to get open.

He provides their elite offense with an extra element as he can play inside or outside at WR and line up in the backfield, creating nightmares for defenses.

Even with his injury, Ojabo’s long-term outlook makes him a steal, as he has all the physical tools to become an elite edge rusher.
