NFL leadership has ruined the game.
There have been so many great memories of the NFL that I had growing up with my father watching the games, and it is upsetting that the NFL has ruined the sport of football by making the sport ‘woke.’ We cannot watch games without seeing a commercial about the NFL’s political views or seeing someone disgrace the American Flag by not standing for the National Anthem.
The Commissioner of the NFL has helped ruin it by putting woke policies in place, like not allowing the NFL players to do touchdown dances and celebrate when they make a big play. The celebrations made the game entertaining, and the NFL decided to take that entertainment away from the fans because a tiny group of people was offended while everyone else enjoyed it.
As a young child and into my teenage years and as a young adult, watching football was enjoyable. I saw the celebrations in the end zone, the big hits on the players, and the NFL broadcasters’ analyses were terrific. Football in the 1990s and early 2000s was fantastic, and the running backs were great back then.
It was nice to see politics not part of the game and kickoffs being returned. It is super upsetting to me that the NFL and their leadership ruined this.
