New game looks to be a winner.
The world of MMA games has brought us countless titles over the years, including Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Super Smash Bros., and King of Fighters. And another awesome MMA game, Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl, is on the horizon.
Nick All-Star Brawl will be an MMA-style game similar to Super Smash Bros. The game will feature 20 fighters to start, and DLC will add more in the future. The game will also feature multiplayer support for up to four players and a soccer mode based on Slap Ball in Slap City by Ludosity.
Confirmed fighters to date include Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Lincoln Loud, Lucy Loud, Danny Phantom, CatDog, Ren and Stimpy, Korra, Powdered Toast Man, Leonardo, and Zim. This lineup–combined with the time and effort it took to design an MMA-style game without ripping off Smash Bros. or any other MMA game–is sure to make this game a hit.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will be released on October 5th.
