Boxing legend Evander Holyfield faced off Saturday night against former UFC champ Vitor Belfort and the contest didn’t turn out as many had expected–either in or out of the ring.
Rust was all around: Holyfield hadn’t been in the ring since 2o11, Belfort since 2018. But one thing was different between the two–age. Holyfield is nearly 60, and Belfort is 44. No matter what, I congratulate Vitor Belfort, and nothing has changed about my opinion of Evander Holyfield. The former cruiserweight champ is still a legend in my book.
