You want BIG to star in the sequel? Well, here’s big.
Space Jam: A New Legacy is currently one of the biggest films around, earning $148.8 million in the box office to date. That’s a little under the $250 million earned by Space Jam (1996). I found the new film enjoyable, including what I considered an upgrade in LeBron James from Michael Jordan in Space Jam.
Now the question is: What about Space Jam Three?
Malcolm D. Lee, director of New Legacy, has hinted that’s a good possibility–multiple sequels, perhaps–starring the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods, Jackie Chan, and featuring them in their respective sports specialties.
Well, I have a better idea–Football Jam starring Tom Brady.
This film will place around the time of Brady’s move to the Buccaneers. One day, Brady is transported into the Warner Bros. Multiverse, similar to LeBron in New Legacy, and is greeted by Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes gang. The Tunes enlist Brady to help them win a football match against a new group of villains, The Footballers, who intend to force the Tunes to work the concession stand at their stadium.
My concept would combine the Multiverse of New Legacy with the 1996 concept of enslaving the Tunes to work at a theme park (in this case, a concession stand).
What do you think?
