BIG3 is a hybrid, 3-on-3 basketball league founded in 2017 by hip hop legend/actor Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. And you can’t talk much about Big3 ball without also talking about the game’s dominant force, 40-year-old “ISO JOE” Johnson.
Two weeks into BIG3 basketball’s fourth season, “ISO” continues to dominate 3-on-3 basketball. BIG3 games play to 50 points, and, in one game, Joe scored 34 and added nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
Joe took his talents to BIG3 in 2019 after 17 NBA seasons, which included seven All-Star appearances. A quick master of 3-on-3, “ISO” set scoring records, was named MVP, and won the BIG3 championship tallying 28 points in the championship game.
This year, Johnson averages 29.0 points, and another BIG3 MVP and championship loom on the horizon. Fans, bear witness to “ISO’s” greatness!
