I can’t wait to see it!
A phenomenal basketball-related movie is ready to be released. On July 16, Space Jam: A New Legacy will hit theatres across the country. In the film, LeBron James teams up with the Looney Tunes crew to save his son by doing what he does best–play basketball.
I viewed the trailer, and it’s amazing!
I love seeing all the Warner Bros. characters, and the soundtrack is epic, including a new version of the Welcome to The Space Jam song (from the previous Space Jam with Michael Jordan).
And I’m especially pleased to see that R. Kelly is nowhere to be found in the film. A highly controversial figure (sexual assault/trafficking charges), Kelly’s fingerprints were all over the original Space Jam soundtrack, including his Grammy-nominated I Believe I Can Fly.
Kris Bowers oversees music this time, and Kelly isn’t involved in the new release. Bravo, Warner Bros.!
