Mike Tyson says he’ll fight again in late May. Against who is the big question.
Mike Tyson is fresh off his comeback fight, a draw with Roy Jones Jr. Elsewhere in the boxing world, Evander Holyfield is trying to get back into the ring. So Holyfield vs. Tyson III would be the most logical next step for both of them. History says it’s so.
In the 1990s, one of the biggest boxing feuds was Tyson vs. Holyfield. And back in 1997, Tyson made headlines by biting off part of Holyfield’s ear.
Well, Tyson-Holyfield May 2021 isn’t going to happen. Holyfield’s team tried to convince Tyson and Co. to do the fight, but the parties couldn’t agree. So, who’s next up? Might it be Trevor Berbick, who Tyson beat in 1995? Or could it be Peter McNeely, the man Tyson beat by DQ the same year as Berbick? Then, there’s Henry Tillman, Tyson’s first victory.
Tyson says he’ll be there. There’s suspense about who else.
