The Skinny on England v. Poland

,

It’s England vs. Poland on Wednesday the 31st of March in the third game from Group 1 of World Cup Qualification.

Poland won their last game 3-0 but have received some bad news. Robert Lewandowski, star striker and the scorer of two goals, is injured. England have no such injury worries, and their star striker Harry Kane is fit and raring to go after scoring and hitting the bar against Albania in their previous fixture.

The odds on England to beat Poland aren’t great, so we are going to look at an alternative angle.

Poland have received eight cards in their last two fixtures whilst Albania received three against England. We believe England will dominate possession as the big teams have against Poland in the past, and that will draw fouls from Poland.

Our tip – Back Poland to receive the most cards.
