Previously, I’ve written about rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s sports affiliations. Now it might be time for Uzi’s boxing debut. His competitor? Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo.
Uzi and his diamond
Recently, Uzi made the decision to plant a $24 million diamond on his forehead. But Ogogo wasn’t impressed:
“Oi, lil MC Hammer @LILUZIVERT do yourself a favor sunshine and just go to Claire’s Accessories and get some cheap plastic, coz if you come to my manor again you’d better do more than hide behind your boy. I’ll punch the diamond straight out of your face!”
Uzi’s response? “I’ll see you in the ring.”
Uzi has had his go in the ring before, and this time he’d have a huge height advantage against Ogogo. So this fight needs to happen.
But Ogogo is right. People are suffering and Uzi is showing off his wealth. Donate the money to charity instead.
