999 Racing: “Death Race For Love” (An original script, Scene Twelve)

, ,

Scene Twelve opens with Jarad, Dark Wrld, Ally, Nocturnal Wrld, and Jason Firestone walking after leaving The Octagon.

Jarad: Wow! I can’t believe I’m walking with the Jason Firestone! I’ve listened to every podcast episode you’ve recorded.

Firestone: Thanks. Which one was your favorite?

Jarad: All of them, of course. No one can top you in podcasts.

Firestone: I appreciate that.

Ally: OK. Can someone explain what’s going on?

Firestone: From what I saw on the news, you four are in grave danger. Death and Kronos have sent bounty hunter after bounty hunter to look for you and bring them to him over Death’s Death Race for Love. They won’t stop either. Not until they find you.

Nocturnal Wrld: Oh great. More bounty hunters.

Firestone: Yeah. I don’t know why they would care about a stupid race, but they do.

Dark Wrld: So what do we do? {Dark Wrld notices two demon cops guarding the gate.} Oh, boy.

Firestone: OK. These guys are super easy to fool. So follow my lead, OK?

All: OK!

{The five heroes walk up to the gate as one of the demon cops notices them.}

Demon Cop One: Halt! Who goes there?!

Firestone: It is I! Jason Firestone! I’m just heading round to record a new podcast episode!

Demon Cop Two: Wait? Aren’t those the people we’re looking for?

Firestone: Oh no! Those are the ’84 Bears.

Demon Cop One: No, no, no. Those are the racers who are supposed to be racing in Death’s Death Race for Love! They’re coming with us!

Firestone: I just said these are the ’84 Bears. The people you are looking for play football and Super Bowl Shuffle.

Demon Cop Two: OK. You five can pass.

Firestone: Thanks. Stay tuned for the episode.

{The five heroes walk through the gate as The Bees Knees by Juice Wrld starts playing. Another Demon Cop comes over to the gate.}

Demon Cop Three: Oh! That felt good.

{Demon Cop Three notices the five heroes walking into the gate.}

Demon Cop Three: What? Huh? What?

Demon Cop Two: Don’t worry. Those are the ’84 Bears.

Demon Cop Three: {Shaking his head, hand on his face.} The ’84 Bears? You two got fooled again.

{Will our five heroes be able to outrun Death? Stay tuned in Scene 13.}
