On Saturday, Ty Jordan–a freshman running back for the Utah Utes–was shot and killed in Texas. He was just 19. The police believe it was an accidental shooting.
During his time with Utah, Jordan was named Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year. During his only year in college, Jordan ranked fourth in the Pac-12 in rushing yards and third in rushing yards per game. He was the first college freshman since 1005 to have had three consecutive 100-yard rushing games.
RIP Ty Jordan. #22.
