On Sunday, chess school GO CHECKMATE conducted its 12th GCCA Online Rapid Chess Tournament with youth participating from Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai, and India.
Participants included Singapore’s Youngest Rated Player Haresh, India’s Youngest Rapid-rated player Mithun Pranav, World School Under-7 Bronze Champion Nivaan Khandhadia, Eastern Asia Youth Blitz Team Chess Championship Bronze winner Vinesh, Singapore Kickoff 2020 Champion Dhanesh, Australia’s Under-12 Championship 2020 winner Archit, GCCA Tiruppur Under-08 Champion V.C. Vijay Adhityan, and GCCA top Players, including Vijayan, Tamizhselvan G, Lakshanaa R, Soorya BY, and Chandralekha G.
Mr. Praveen Kumar (FI), Mr.Gunasekaran, and Vidhyavarshni (NI) organized the event, which was played using a time control of 15 mins + 5 seconds increment.
