The tournament was held on Saturday.
Saturday’s tournament host was FIDE Master Syed Anwar Shazuli, who has a highest rating of 2360. An IM norm holder, he was U12 World Chess Championship participant in 1990, the Under-12 National Champion, and a two-time National Premier National A participant.
22 players representing three countries (Singapore, India, and Dubai) participated.
From more than 100 entries, 22 participants with a mix of rated and unrated players were given an opportunity to play simultaneously with the FIDE Master.
The tournament was conducted in LiChess Platform. Time control for the players was 20 mins + 10 seconds increment, and for the host, it was 110 min + 10 seconds increment. Mr. Praveen Kumar (FI), Mr. Gunasekaran, and Vidhyavarshni (NI), organised the event.
They congratulated Dhanesh Venkata Narayanaswamy for his draw against the FM.
