Chess tournaments are being played online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Online chess
Mithun Pranav finished 2nd in the Under 08 category at the 1st GCCA International Online Rapid Chess Tournament conducted on 19 April. The tournament was conducted as a 4-round Swiss system with a time control of 15 min 5 sec for each player. The tournament was played at Chess.com and was conducted by GCCA. Sixty-six participants competed.
