Little Richard, a rock-and-roll legend, passed away on Saturday.
We are saying our goodbyes to a rock-and-roll legend, Little Richard, who sang hits like Tutti Frutti and Lucille. He also played piano flawlessly and pioneered a music genre that lives today in the work of Nirvana, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Black Sabbath, Senses Fail, Black Veil Brides, Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, and other rockers.
The legend also had a sports side to him. In 1972, Richard played soccer at the prestigious Wembley Stadium. He went up against ‘Screaming Lord Sutch,’ who played the entire time with a parrot on his shoulder.
RIP, Little Richard. I dedicate this beat to you.
