The violence has to stop. Another young man, with his whole future ahead of him, had his life ended. I’m talking about a former high school player, 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery.

Arbery was jogging in his neighborhood, something he liked doing. Gunshots were fired. Arbery died. What’s more, the incident was caught on video and posted online.

“We are hunted every day, ” said LeBron James wrote on Twitter. “We can’t even go on a jog anymore.”

No man, no matter what color or career, should have to lose their life. Justice for Arbery!

Someone was arrested in this case. Hopefully, they get life in jail. No parole. No nothing. Ahmad Arbery didn’t do anything wrong. If they let these killers go with not even a slap on the wrist, that makes the police in today’s society no better than Travon Martin’s killers. Justice for Arbery is needed. I get it: This quarantine has taken its toll on us all. Trust me. It’s taken a toll on me as well. But that’s no excuse to take another man away from his family. If there were more peace and love on Earth than we wouldn’t have to have COVID-19 or anything of that sort. So however long this pandemic lasts, use this time to really think. Reflect on your mistakes. Do it for Arbery. My thoughts are with this man’s family.
P.S. Happy Mother’s Day. Be kind to each other.
