Ah! Splurge with a Funnel Cake Poutine.


In Toronto Canada, you can watch the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. And, if you’re hungry (and adventurous) you can buy ‘The Funnel Cake Poutine,’ a dessert with funnel cake fries and frosting.

But if you hanker for one and you’re not in Toronto, you can craft this dessert at home. Yes, it’s over the top, but at about 420 calories it’s not that bad for you.

Ingredients

1. 1 Cup Of Whole Wheat Flour
2. 1 Cup of Agave nectar sweetener
3. 1 Cup Of Whole Milk
4. 2 Eggs
5. 1 Cup Of Coconut Oil
6. 1 teaspoon of water

Instructions

1. Mix the dry and wet ingredients separately.
2. Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
3. Fry in coconut oil for 3 to 9 minutes or until crispy.
4. Mix the water and agave together for a healthy icing.
5. Slice the funnel cake into ‘fries.’
6. Apply the frosting.

Serves 4.
