Influencer Marketing is where social media and marketing connect.
Social media have taken over our lives. With around 2.62 billion users around the world, social media enable people to develop online identities, which can translate into large followings.
For brands, there’s a special connection. Companies are beginning to connect with people who have large followings. Why? It’s to sell their products and services.
The approach has a name. It’s called “Influencer Marketing.”
While there’s no doubt that Facebook is the world’s largest social media platform when it comes to Influencer Marketing, Instagram is the star of the social media show. So let’s take a look at several athletic influencers who are Instagram-active.
As you read what follows, think about hooking up with one or more of these Influencers to advance your company’s brand.
Chris Magee (Mageesy)
If you’re looking to follow someone who isn’t big yet, then Chris Magee is your person. This Irish fitness guru was formerly a personal trainer, but today he’s an international yoga teacher whose followers practice with him online. With just 31,000 followers, he has loads of room to grow. And the good news is that we haven’t spotted him working with any brands.
But we do know that Chris does a lot of charity work–work that has positioned him in the public eye. For example, on International Yoga Day, he assisted the Yoga For Refugees event, sharing his expertise with those in need.
