Numerologist Outperforms ESPN, Vegas, and NBA Pros

I had hoped that my success in applying numerology to the Blazers would draw more people into seeing the validity of numbers for personal and social advancement.

I have been a professional numerologist for over 50 years and am best known for my attention to the evolution of human consciousness and encouraging personal growth/self-awareness through numbers. I’ve also casually followed major sporting events over the years.

Years ago, while living in the area, I became a fan of the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers.

Although I was disillusioned with the big egos, behavior, and extravagances of professional sports, there was something refreshing about the Blazers, including their team spirit and play. They were a refreshing contrast to taunting, peacocking, hot dogging, and throat-slashing gestures that had become commonplace in professional and in some college sports.

I started a blog to numerologically to cover their adventures. In it, I analyzed the team and made predictions–sometimes much to the chagrin of beat writers and sportscasters. Three years ago when Vegas, ESPN, and most pro pundits predicted a relatively poor season of 27-to-30 wins, I was the only prognosticator in the country to suggest 47-49 wins with a downside of 44 wins. I saw a probable playoff birth.

Boom! I nailed it!

2018-19 is almost a repeat. The consensus of the analysts, ESPN, and Vegas statisticians had the Blazers winning around 30 games, give or take. And most agreed they’d not make the playoffs.

This year, once again, I was the only national sports prognosticator to predict 47-to-49 wins, perhaps as many as 52 wins.

Boom! I nailed it!

But I also saw their playoff prospects uncertain at best. Now they are even more so with the injury to big man Jusuf Nurkic. Perhaps the collective emotional theme of ‘Win it for the Nurk’ will carry the Blazers. However, that type of rally cry often burns out before bedazzling, so I’m not going to speculate on outcomes. But I will say–as a fan–that I hope they do well.

For me, applying numerology to the Blazers is fun–a minimal part of my scope and purpose for doing the numbers. But I hoped that my success might catch the attention of those who would choose to look into the merit of using numerology for greater purposes.

But, for the most part, I get inquiries from people wanting to numerology to “pick winners.” I had hoped public interest would ascend that purpose. One reason is this.

From my experience of over 40 years as a therapist, it’s clear that relatively little health benefit/personal growth comes from gambling and the associated gambling personality. I know from experience because I flirted with gambling (and successfully so) from time-to-time over the decades.

Gamblers are often people who crave change and something better for them and the world. Perhaps the exploration of numerology might help the gambling personality focus their imagination and ingenuity on causes of transformation and innovation that contribute to a better and more prosperous world for all.

The message I hope to convey in this article is that I hope curiosity will be stimulated regarding the potential use of numbers for growth in self-awareness and maturity–both in individuals and in broader society. Time will tell. But, then, time is just one of the many illusions of this dimension, isn’t it?
