For athletes, managing negativity is a must.

As an athlete, you’ve train to perfect your craft. You’ve sweated and have spilled a little blood. But what happens when a player is in a slump or isn’t performing in a game?

Character builds when tested. The old saying is true: ‘They like you one day, but the next day is a different story.’ What if the fans boo you during a game? That tests an athlete’s mental toughness and character.

Some athletes take negativity hard, and it often affects gameplay. Others ignore negativity by blocking it out. They keep playing the best they can.

Obstacles are a good thing. They test an athlete’s limits. The only answer is this: block out naysayers and do your best. You’ll find your greatness that way.
