I’ll take my chances with The Reds.
After only seven games into the season, Liverpool looks to be a convincing Premier League title contender. At 6-1, the Reds are in a first-place tie with powerful ManCity.
New players are contributing mightily, including goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who was signed for a world record fee.
Shaqiri (from Stoke City), Naby Keita (RB Leipzig), and Fabinho (Monaco) also bolster the squad.
On paper, at least, I think it’s fair to promulgate a prediction: “Liverpool will win the league.” And play this week may well prove the case, one way or another.
