Dallas Cowboys Offense vs. Minnesota Vikings Defense
Get Your Popcorn Ready: Regardless of his intentions, Dez Bryant’s actions in Detroit last weekend were an embarrassment to the Cowboys organization. We all love players who play with passion, but when Dez turned into Terrell Owens circa 2004, screaming at his Quarterback, teammates and coaches, he crossed the line. Bryant’s teammates and coaches all took the high road and explained the the incident was not an issue, but it will be interesting to see how the Cowboys respond this week to their brutal loss last week to the Lions.
A Balanced Attack: When DeMarco Murray carries the ball over 20 times, the Cowboys win; unfortunately due to injuries, it seems that this equation rarely comes to fruition. If Murray is truly healthy coming back from his sprained MCL, the Cowboys offense once again can achieve balance and success. Fortunately for Dallas, they face a putrid Minnesota team that ranks 29th in passing yards allowed, and 20th in rushing yards allowed.
Outcome: Look for Tony Romo to have a huge day. No one in the Vikings secondary can match up with Bryant and rising star Terrance Williams and DeMarco Murray will provide the balance that the Cowboys need to win.
