Now that the first full day of NFL action is set to start, everyone is scrambling to set their rosters before the 1pm deadline. Now if you followed my previous tips, your draft should have went well and have plenty of options for the key positions (RB and WR). Trying to get a leg up on Sunday can be frustrating and gut-wrenching. Especially if you are behind the 8-ball because you were matched up against Peyton Manning or one of his minions (Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, Julius Thomas).
Since its week one, no one really knows what to expect out of many players in your lineup. My best advice is to stop stressing about it and play your studs. Don’t over analyze matchups and sub out a solid No. 2 RB for a bench player that may be able to break off a big play or two against a suspect defense. Stick with the guys that are going to touch the ball…a lot.
There is a reason you took those players so early, don’t lose confidence before the season has even started. Your team will take shape the next couple weeks, by realizing which players you can trust for consistent production. For now, just relax and let the chips fall as they may in the first week. You can’t go work with playing your studs, so set your roster now and don’t look back until Tuesday Morning.
