If you don’t remember this classic confrontation between obnoxious sports talk show host, Jim Rome and former NFL QB, Jim Everett. Rome has made a name for himself by “pushing the envelope,” but more like acting like a coward in the safety of a studio. You have to give him credit as he referred to the much larger, stronger and more temper-mental QB, as Kris Everett; the famous female tennis athlete. Calling any man a woman is demeaning enough, but to say it to a superior physical specimen is just poking the bear. I think most people would love to react the same way if they sat across from Rome.
