NFL training camps have arrived and already Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has the quote of the camp season. When asked about being the face of the franchise his response was classic.
“There’s really no true face of the franchise because if we all just had faces, we’d all be dead,” he said. “So you know there’s got to be a heart, there’s got to be some legs, some arms. So that is those guys in there. I guess you can say I’m just the mask. Those guys are the real ones that make up the body of this team.”
With that in mind, I went to some of Griffin’s teammates about this comment and wanted to know what part of the body they represent. Ryan Kerrigan said the eyes, because he likes to see everything on the field. Trent Williams said he and the offensive line are the heart, because without them you can’t survive. Newcomer Pierre Garcon said the legs and hands, because as a wide receiver running and catching is what he does.
NFL fans, who is the most important individual on your team and what body part do you think they would be? Here are some choices for you: brain, heart, eyes, mouth, neck, ears, nose, legs, foot, shoulder.
